Commercial Director, Ric Simmons, commented: “We now have three more success stories to add to the historical achievements of our Graduate Training Programme. I am excited to see what the future holds for Conal, Dylan and Jansher as they start the next chapter of their career journey at Praetura.
“I have no doubt that they will continue to be tremendous assets to our growing team. I’m looking forward to seeing how the next interns on our Graduate Training Programme develop, as we continue to invest in strengthening our team, so that we are able to expand the range of SMEs benefiting from our more than money approach to funding. I am delighted that two new recruits to our Graduate Training Programme will be joining our team at the end of this month”.
Speaking to the promoted trio about their experiences as part of Praetura’s Graduate Training Programme, Jansher told us: “The team at Praetura have been amazing, helping me with every question no matter how big or small and really welcoming me from the moment I stepped through the doors. I’ve been given a lot of support and training from the credit team and have been able to develop my knowledge significantly, while being given responsibilities which have allowed me to take ownership and bolster my progression.
Enrolling on Praetura’s Graduate Training Programme gave me the opportunity to join a company that genuinely cares about you and your career, mentored and supported by people who want to see you reach your potential. I’m looking forward to continuing to develop as part of a growing company where the opportunities are endless”.
Dylan commented: “The graduate scheme was challenging but also very rewarding, allowing me to learn a lot, not just about finance, but also about sales in general and developing relationships with fellow professionals. I’m very proud to have graduated from the programme and I’m looking forward to a career in finance”.
Conal added: “Progressing through the graduate scheme means a great deal to me and is testament to the fact that from day one I’ve had committed and supportive colleagues around me, giving me the opportunity to build my knowledge in both asset finance and in a sales capacity.
I’m very grateful to Praetura for taking me on their Graduate Training Programme and hope that by continuing to progress my career with them in finance that I can repay the faith shown in me over the past two and a half years”.
