Funding your potential

Funding for businesses, particularly small and medium sized businesses, is often perceived as a complicated minefield with lots of red tape and multiple hoops to jump through; with little or no attention paid to the actual businesses that the funding is there to help. Praetura Asset Finance was specifically established to redress this balance and put the focus back on the SMEs. We have built a team of experts who will take the time to understand your business and work with you to find the funding solution that best fits your requirements.

In the beginning

In 2013 Praetura Asset Finance was the first truly independently owned asset finance company to enter the UK market place in 15 years.

The business opened with eight members of staff, operating from one 1000sq ft room at Haydock House in Blackburn. Since then, our client-focused approach to lending, coupled with a flexible and personalised service has seen the business grow rapidly in a short space of time.

Onwards and upwards

By the end of 2017 we had expanded to take over the whole of the ground floor of Haydock House. At the beginning of 2019 our team had grown to be more than 30 strong and a move to bespoke premises was necessary.

The Praetura Asset Finance team is now based at their new corporate headquarters on Walker Park in Blackburn. If you ever want to call in and say hi, you will always be more than welcome!

Our ethos is that of a consultant lender, so we are on-hand for the entire business cycle. Whether it’s advice, assets or additional funding needed, we are always available.

Working in partnership with you

At Praetura Asset Finance, we appreciate that every business is different, each with its own set of circumstances. Our dedicated team of experts will always take the time to understand your business, so we can structure the funding and adapt the terms to your specific circumstances.

Whether you’re a business owner, a broker or a supplier, we’d love to hear from you.
